Asked Questions

Clear answers to common questions about counselling, mediation, parenting coordination and support for separated families.

Every family’s situation is different. Some people need a safe space to process emotions, while others are looking to resolve conflict or improve co-parenting after separation. If you’re unsure, get in touch. We’ll take the time to understand your circumstances and recommend the service that’s most likely to support your goals.
Mediation is about reaching an agreement, while Parenting Coordination helps make an existing agreement or court order work in real life.
Not sure whether you need counselling, mediation, or Parenting Coordination? That’s okay. We can discuss your situation and help you determine which service is the best fit for your needs.

Mediation provides a neutral, structured environment where both parties can discuss concerns, explore options and work towards practical agreements with the support of an impartial mediator.
No. The goal is to help you make progress where possible. Even partial agreements can reduce conflict and provide a stronger foundation for future discussions.
Parenting Coordination is an ongoing process that helps separated parents manage conflict, improve communication and implement parenting agreements in day-to-day life. The focus is always on supporting children’s wellbeing.
