These terms outline the booking, payment, cancellation, confidentiality and session expectations that apply when engaging with True Path Parenting.
Our aim is to create a supportive, professional and reliable experience for every client. These terms help ensure expectations are clear before your session begins.
Booking & Confirmation
All sessions must be booked in advance.
A session is confirmed once full payment has been received, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed with the practitioner prior to the appointment.
Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment, unless prior arrangements have been made directly with the practitioner.
Payment may be made by credit card or bank transfer.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Your time and energy are valuable — and so is ours.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a session will incur the full session fee.
- Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before a session may also incur the full session fee.
- No-shows are charged the full session fee.
- Rescheduling requests made 36 hours or more before the session will be accommodated where possible, subject to availability.
This policy supports fairness, consistency and the structure that is central to effective therapeutic work.
Late Arrivals
To maintain structure and fairness for all clients:
- Sessions will end at the scheduled time, even if you arrive late.
- Full session fees still apply to late arrivals.
- If you anticipate being late, please contact us as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
Online Sessions
Telehealth sessions are available through secure video platforms.
- Clients are responsible for having access to a private and quiet space.
- Please ensure your device is adequately charged before the session.
- A stable internet connection is required.
- If technical issues prevent the session from proceeding, the session may be rescheduled subject to availability.
Limits to Confidentiality
Therapeutic work is private and confidential. However, there are circumstances where disclosure may be legally required or otherwise permitted by law.
These circumstances may include, but are not limited to:
- A serious risk of harm to yourself or another person.
- Suspected abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable person.
- A valid court order, subpoena or other legal requirement.
Clients are encouraged to raise any questions or concerns about confidentiality during their first session.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are asked to:
- Attend sessions on time.
- Actively participate in the therapeutic process.
- Respect the professional boundaries of each session.
- Take responsibility for their own wellbeing and decisions outside of sessions.
Session Conduct Expectations
True Path Parenting is committed to maintaining a safe, professional and productive environment.
- Respectful communication is required at all times.
- Harassment, aggression, threatening behaviour or inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated.
- A session may be paused or terminated if safe or respectful conduct is compromised.
Private-Pay Policy
All sessions are provided on a private-pay basis.
No rebates apply unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payment is due at the time of booking.
